Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Platonic Relationships In Books. If you guys have read my reviews, you know how much I love well developed side characters in books – and platonic friendships are an excellent place to start.
- Reagan and Cath – Fangirl
- Harry and Ron – Harry Potter
- Harry and Hermione – Harry Potter
- Watney and Lewis – The Martian
- Anna and Meredith – Anna and the French Kiss
- Laurie and Sarah – One Day in December
- Wade and Aech – Ready Player One
- Gus and Isaac – The Fault in our Stars

I’ve only read the books related to the top three answers but absolutely yes with Cath and Reagan – I adore the development of their friendship. Loved this!
Great list!
I’ve read most of these books! Great list.
Brilliant list. I love the Harry Potter friendships.
I’m reading Fangirl right now and even though I’m less than one hundred pages in, I’m already loving the blossoming friendship between Cath and Reagan!
Here’s my TTT if you want to check it out!
Fangirl made my list too… although I mentioned Cath and Ren. But Reagan was a good friend to Cath too.
I loved Reagan and Cath!
Love the Potter friendship <3
The Harry Potter series was a wealth of platonic relationships, really. Which is a great thing to find in books aimed at a younger audience.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
Ooh, I forgot about Fangirl. There are some great friendships in there.
Great list! I like that you started with Fangirl. I haven’t seen that book mentioned a lot recently and it’s always nice to see it pop up now and again, still! So many great friendships.
