Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Books I Meant to Read In 2018 but Didn’t Get To. This one hits a little close to home, guys. I went through a lot of big life changes in 2018 and reading got pushed to the bottom of my priority list, sadly. That being said, I’m looking at this list with a glass-half-full perspective: I still have plenty of amazing books to read.

  1. Less by Andrew Sean Greer
  2. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
  3. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
  4. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
  5. Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich
  6. Armada by Ernest Cline
  7. The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory
  8. Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D Jackson
  9. Into the Water by Paula Hawkins
  10. Brooklyn by Colm Toibin

  1. I never got to Into The Water either. I did read Girl on the Train though.

Attachments is on my list of Rainbow Rowell books I need to read yet.

  2. I’m finally reading The Hate U Give at the moment, despite putting it on my books I meant to read in 2017 list! I keep forgetting that Armada exists, which is awful because Ready Player One is one of my favourite books ever – that one should definitely have been on my list this week, too.
