Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Books I Meant to Read In 2018 but Didn’t Get To. This one hits a little close to home, guys. I went through a lot of big life changes in 2018 and reading got pushed to the bottom of my priority list, sadly. That being said, I’m looking at this list with a glass-half-full perspective: I still have plenty of amazing books to read.
- Less by Andrew Sean Greer
- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
- Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
- The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
- Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich
- Armada by Ernest Cline
- The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory
- Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D Jackson
- Into the Water by Paula Hawkins
- Brooklyn by Colm Toibin

Amazing list
Thank you!
The Hate U Give is incredible!
I’ve heard so much about it! I’m so excited to start it!
I really like LESS by Greer, I hope you get a chance to read it. My TTT Books I meant to read last year
Thanks! I’m thinking it might be next on my TBR
I never got to Into The Water either. I did read Girl on the Train though.
Attachments is on my list of Rainbow Rowell books I need to read yet.
How was the Girl on the Train?
Attachments is pretty good, but my favorite adult Rainbow Rowell is Landline. It’s such an amazing story and I love the OTP.
I can’t wait to read both!
I need to read Dear Evan Hansen at some point. I hear so many wonderful things about it.
Same! I’ve been dying to see it!
I’m finally reading The Hate U Give at the moment, despite putting it on my books I meant to read in 2017 list! I keep forgetting that Armada exists, which is awful because Ready Player One is one of my favourite books ever – that one should definitely have been on my list this week, too.
How is it? I’m dying to read it!
I’m the same about Armada – it took forever to pick it up and I keep forgetting I have it
I hope you enjoy The Hate U Give.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Thank you!
Which one of these books do you think you’ll read first?
This is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I’m thinking either Less or The Hate U Give!
Nice.
I loved Attachments and am reading The Hate U Give right now. Good luck getting to these ones.
Thanks! I can’t wait to read both of them!
The Hate U Give is really amazing! I definitely recommend it! Landline is really great too – I loved reading Rainbow Rowell writing adult fiction!

I cannot wait for The Hate U Give – I’ve literally only heard positive things
I need to finish ‘The Hate U Give’ this year. I got distracted during the holidays. 😅
Fair enough – I think I read like thirty pages over the holidays
I’ve never heard of Attachments by Rainbow Rowell before. I did like Fangirl and her short story “Midnights” though.
I haven’t heard of Midnights – I’ll have to check it out
Ooh, I spy a lot of my favourites on here (The Hate U Give, The Girl on the Train) so I wish you luck in getting to them and hope you enjoy them when you do!
Dear Evan Hansen is a brilliant read 🙂
