Top Ten Tuesday

ttt-new

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Cover Redesigns I Loved/Hated. This is an easy one for me – even though you’re not supposed to judge a book by it’s cover, I do constantly. I am way more likely to pick up a book that I’ve heard nothing about if it has a nice cover. Please note: the old covers are on the left, the new covers are on the right.

  1. I’m not a big fan of movie tie-in covers either. They’re okay for films that are a year or two old, but I’ve found that a lot of them start looking really dated after a certain number of years have passed.

    My TTT.

  2. Oh, yes! I agree with almost all of these!! I wish I liked the tie-in edition of Dumplin’ more because the colour is so vivid but… funnily enough, I think that’s what made me dislike it? So I agree 100%. I think I just don’t fancy people on covers a good chunk of the time. ANYWAYS, great picks!
