Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme byΒ The Artsy Reader. This weekβs topic is Books with Colors In the Title. I chose to make this even harder for myself – by only choosing books with a color in the title that I had read. Let me tell you, colors don’t show up in titles very much. Given that, I had to stretch a few times (stripes is a color now, y’all).
- Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren
- The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne
- Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
- All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
- Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
- 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
- The Last Little Blue Evelope by Maureen Johnson
- The Sapphire Talisman by Brenda Pandos
- Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
- Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts

There are so many good books with colors in the titles.
Haha, I used Red, White, & Royal Blue, too! Very colorful list.
Nice list! And yay for having read them all!
I love your list. Very colorful! Here is my TTT.

That’s a very colourful list! Great post!
Thank you!
I have Twice In A Blue Moon on my shelves too. Did I use it? No!! So many books I forgot about π
My Bookish Fantasy
I loved Red Queen – that one made it on my list too! I’m definitely going to have to check out some of the others on your list though!
In this case, stripe is definitely a color. Lovely list! Here’s my I see your true colors
Red White and Royal Blue is getting a lot of love this week for obvious reasons – Alex and Henry made my list too: such a feel good book!
My TTT this week includes a whole rainbow π albeit with purple rather than indigo or violet.
I loved Bitterblue… the grace king series was so good.

Good list. Red Queen seems to be a winner. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/08/ttt-080420.html
Great list! I haven’t tried any of Kristin Cashore’s work, but I feel like I should one of these days.
Stripes is totally a color.
(This list prompt made me desperate enough to have accepted polka dots as a color if it could help me finish…)
I like your list! Red, White, and Royal Blue seems to be a popular choice! π
Red white and royal blue and red queen made my list this week.
I thought about putting the little blue envelopes books but went in a different direction.
I hope you check it out. http://bookwormsanonymous.blog/2020/08/04/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-colours-in-the-title/
Red White & Royal Blue found itself on my list too. Great list!
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I found a lot of color in my children’s picture book titles.
Great list. Red, White & Royal Blue is on my list. The Red Queen almost made it there. Thanks for sharing.

13 Little Blue Envelopes is such an intriguing title.
My TTT .
Nice list! It sounds like you made this quite challenging for yourself! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday
Sometimes you just have to stretch, right?? I still need to read Twice in a Blue Moon and All the Bright Places. π
Stripes in now a colour and so are the words ‘bright’ and ‘dark’ π At least the main character of All The Bright Places is called Violet!
I also used RW&RB and Twice in a Blue Moon. And I’m totally laughing over your comment “striped is now a color.” LOL
It’s amazing how many times blue shows up in book titles right? I thought I’d have a hard time finding titles for this one, but I just typed in a color in my “read” shelf on Goodreads and I ended up with more than I thought. Great list and thanks for visiting my TTT! π
Haha, of course stripes is a color! I really liked Red White & Royal Blue and Twice in a Blue Moon — fun list!
We have a couple similar books on our list this week! I still need to read Twice in a Blue Moon and Red, White & Royal Blue! But I’ve been in such a romance mood lately that I’m sure I’ll get to them soon π
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday post! Happy reading!
I did a combination of books I’ve read and books on my TBR, I reckon I could have just about done it with just books I’ve read, but it was definitely easier with the mix!

Great list! I have Red Queen but still haven’t read it!
This prompt was definitely hard. I tried to only pick ones that I had read, but couldn’t do it. You are a champ! Great list! π
Nice that you included the boy in the striped pyjamas.
What a fab list, there are load of good books with a colour in their title, thanks for sharing!
Stripes are totally a color. π I like All The Bright Places and Red Queen a lot, but these are all nice!
Hahahaha! I read way less books with colors in the title. I came up with… ONE. So I just pulled them all from my TBR. π
My TTT
Stripes can definitely count as a colour!
I loved these covers!!!
I really need to read Red, White & Royal Blue! Great list!
Good job on reading that many books with colors in the title. I realized I havenβt read many when I went to do this prompt, so I had to go with books I havenβt read yet instead.
Quite a few are on my TBR but I havenβt read any yet. Great choices!
I feel you – this topic was tougher than I thought it would be and I was using books I hadn’t read yet. Good on you for using ones you had. And stripes is TOTALLY a color π
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!

Fun list! Red, White, and Royal Blue counts as three colors, right? π
Nice list I haven’t read any of the books you’ve listed in your post.
Great idea of only choosing books with a color in the title that you’ve read. I love the colour blue. π
Thanks for stopping by to see my Top Ten Tuesday post!
It looks like a lot of book titles have the word blue in it, great list! π
Thank you!
Great list and covers!!
Thanks!
You are welcome
Love your list!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I have Red, White and Royal blue on my TBR List!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I love how you used striped and bright. Thinking outside the box!
Thanks!
Some lovely covers! A great list!
Ohhh, great books. How did you like Dark Inside? I read the first book and never continued!
I LOVED DARK INSIDE. Itβs criminally underrated
Okay, that’s great to know!!
I really want to read Red Queen. Great list!
I’ve read about the ‘Blue Envelope’ books, but never picked them up. Perhaps I should remedy this..!!
I noticed a lot of books with the color blue in it too!
Spot on with these books!
I love these covers! Great list!
