Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event held by Jill over at Breaking The Spine! It’s all about those books you just can’t wait for and are counting down the days till they come out.

This week I’m counting down until 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne. I recently read The Hating Game and really enjoyed it (with the exception of the focus on the main character’s height). I can’t wait to read Sally’s second novel.

This week I’m counting down until Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty. Big Little Lies was one of my favorite reads of this year, so I can’t wait to dig into her latest release!

This week I’m counting down until I get to read An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. At first I was hesitant to add this book to my TBR – the description doesn’t make it sound like a book I would normally read, but the early buzz has been positive, so I added it to my list.

Summary

The Carls just appeared. Coming home from work at three a.m., twenty-three-year-old April May stumbles across a giant sculpture. Delighted by its appearance and craftsmanship–like a ten-foot-tall Transformer wearing a suit of samurai armor–April and her friend Andy make a video with it, which Andy uploads to YouTube. The next day April wakes up to a viral video and a new life. News quickly spreads that there are Carls in dozens of cities around the world–everywhere from Beijing to Buenos Aires–and April, as their first documentarian, finds herself at the center of an intense international media spotlight.
