Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme by The Artsy Reader. This week’s topic is Backlist Books I Want to Read. I have a ton of books that I want to read that fall into this category since I just recently finished college. So many great books came out during my degree that I never got a chance to dig into!
- Armada by Ernest Cline
- Artemis by Andy Weir
- The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty
- Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
- The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
- Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
- An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth by Chris Hadfield
- A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah Maas
- Into the Water by Paula Hawkins
- Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld

You’ve got some fabulous books on your list. I enjoyed The Lovely Bones, The Husband’s Secret and Gone Girl. All very gripping reads.
I need to read Gone Girl! And I liked The Husband’s Secret!!
So many of these I really liked or really want to read too!! The Lovely Bones is a big YES!! I don’t recommend the movie though– it was not great & Mark Wahlberg should stick to action movies IMO. Gone Girl and The Husband’s Secret were both great. And both have very interesting/controversial endings. Armada is totally on my TBR after reading and loving Ready Player One. I hope you get to read some of these soon!!
I’ve read a few from your list, but won’t spoil anything for you with my comments! I hope you get around to reading them all and enjoy every last one.
I read several from your list. Gone Girl is a fast read and super suspenseful. Plus it has a neat antihero/sort of villain. Eligible is the perfect guilty pleasure read. I quite loved it. I personally did not like Lovely Bones at all but I am the minority on that one. I don’t see any horror books on your list but if you are interested, my list is about horror books I really should’ve read a long time ago. https://ichleseblog.wordpress.com/2018/11/06/top-ten-tuesday-10-horror-books-i-cant-believe-i-havent-read/
Congrats on finishing college! My older girl is in her first year. 🙂 I enjoyed Into the Water and want to read The Husband’s Secret as well.

Great list! A good few of those are on my list too.
Great list! A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my list also.
I read The Husband’s Secret several years ago and still remember it
There are a few on there that I’d like to read too! Will need to keep an eye out for reviews from you as you work your way through the list! 😊
Gone Girl is in my TBR.
I’ve read a few books on your list and can’t wait for you to finally read them! Personally, some of these are my favorites.
The Husband’s Secret and Into the Water are on my TBR, too! I love The Lovely Bones, Gone Girl and ACOTAR. I’ve read Eligible and it’s not my favorite P&P adaptation at all but if you love P&P, it’s worth the read.
You have such a great list! You need to read The Husband’s Secret! One of my favourite novels.
I’ve read A Court of Thorns and Roses and unpopular opinion here but I didn’t love it. I may give it another chance next year because people just rave about this series. But I personally prefer her Throne of Glass series.
I was disappointed by Artemis, Little Fires Everywhere and Into the Water. None were as good as the authors’ previous novels.
while i have not read any of these, #4, 5 and 6 have been ones i have been meaning to read too
Great list! Artemis is still on my tbr as well.
Curious to see what you’ll think of a Court of Thorns and Roses!
Great list you’ve got there!
Looks like a good list! Hope you’ll enjoy them 🙂
Little Fires Everywhere is on my list too. I love Gone girl and I would read anything written by Gillian Flynn without skipping a beat.
I hope to start reading ACOTAR after I finish the Throne of Glass series… so sometime early next year, more than likely. I got Into the Water the other day at our library’s book sale. I’d also like to read Little Fires Everywhere at some point.
There are too many good books out there to read!
Great post and a great list of books, I’ve read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah Maas and I absolutely love and enjoy all three books. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome post.
